Job Description

LRC Logistics is looking for experienced HGV / Class 2 Drivers to support larger transport movements across the UK. You’ll be responsible for moving goods safely, professionally and in line with all legal and company requirements.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in safe driving, careful handling and delivering a dependable service for customers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out HGV collections and deliveries safely and efficiently.

• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.

• Load, secure and unload goods where required.

• Follow transport instructions, delivery notes and route plans.

• Maintain accurate paperwork and proof of delivery records.

• Communicate with the transport team throughout the day.

• Follow all driver hours, tachograph and compliance requirements.

Basic Requirements

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence.

• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Previous HGV driving experience.

• Strong understanding of road safety and compliance.

• Reliable, professional and customer-focused.

• Able to work independently and manage delivery schedules.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with palletised goods or commercial freight.

• Familiarity with London and nationwide delivery routes.

• Forklift or tail-lift experience useful but not essential.

• Good problem-solving skills when dealing with access, delays or site requirements.
